What is GIRL TALK Empowerment Day?
GIRL TALK Empowerment Day is an event dedicated to motivating girls to take local and global action through inspirational performances and story sharing.
Who can register for GIRL TALK Empowerment Day?
The target audience for GIRL TALK Empowerment Day is girls ages 11-18, but this is not a fixed range. Each year, we have girls as young as 8 years old attend, as well as post-secondary students. We also have parents, teachers, administrators, and other community members purchase tickets and attend the day. We strongly recommend that girls under the age of 12 have a parent/guardian or teacher/supervisor onsite at the event.
