Our GIRL TALK Empowerment team stands behind our speakers and helps coordinate the booking details to help create a smooth, streamlined process to assist you with your event-planning needs. Katie is a social entrepreneur, author, blogger and motivational speaker who has spoken across North America, including on the TED Talk international stage in Vancouver. She is the youngest weekly on-air radio panelist on Toronto’s NEWSTALK 1010 AM station, Monday mornings from 9am-10am. Katie is proud to be the founder of GIRL TALK Empowerment—an organization that provides life-changing experiences, a multi-platform support network, ethical merchandise, and leadership opportunities that give girls the tools they need to overcome personal challenges and make their mark on the world. Katie is also the founder and Creative Director of The Pink Box, a new monthly subscription box that provides girls & women with lifestyle products that not only make them look and feel good but also DO good. $1 from every Pink Box sold is donated to Because I Am a Girl to help empower girls in developing countries.
Katie was recognized as a student leader at a young age and has received national honours for her work. She is a former Top 20 Under 20 Finalist, a recipient of the TD Canada Trust $75,000 scholarship for Community Leadership, a recipient of the Governor General’s “Caring Canadian” Award and was also recognized by the YWCA as a “Young Woman of Distinction.” Katie has also excelled in the pageant world and is a former “Miss Italia” and “Miss Fiesta” in her local community and also placed Top 5 in the 2013 Miss World Canada pageant where she was also recognized as a “beauty with purpose” award recipient for her charitable work. She hopes to use her leadership background to empower an entire generation of girls to make their mark on the world.

Sarah Taylor is a Plus Size Model, Blogger, Beauty Diversity Advocate, Motivational Speaker, Assistant Editor at FabUplus Magazine, and former Miss Plus Canada (2014-2016). Her passion is to help women see their true beauty regardless of their weight. Sarah openly shares her journey of surviving abuse, self-hatred and sadness to thriving in a place of joy and self-love to give other women hope that they too can overcome anything and see beauty in themselves.

Taylor Lindsay-Noel is a passionate and enthusiastic 23-year-old Toronto, Canada native. After a gymnastics accident left her a quadriplegic in 2008, she sought out a new medium to express herself. That inevitably led to her discovery and love affair with words and the immense power they wield. She is currently finding the balance of being a writer, motivational speaker, podcaster, recent university graduate and soul-searching young adult.
